As we continue to grow in the marketplace, we have an outstanding opportunity for an enthusiastic, dedicated Shipping and Fulfillment Coordinator to join our Shipping Department. The essential job duties include:

  • Process inbound and outbound shipments, with attention to accuracy and quality
  • Review orders and establish priorities for both domestic and international shipments
  • Pack and label products based on established standards and regulatory requirements
  • Establish best practices and drive process efficiencies
  • Assist in maintaining inventory in retail, manufacturing, and shipping supplies
  • Organize and implement procedures related to the flow of materials and products
  • Perform required administrative tasks while effectively navigating web-based tools
  • Coordinate with internal and external players to establish order status and priority
  • Resolve unexpected scheduling and shipping issues to ensure proper order fulfillment
  • Assist customers with loading fabricated parts and communicate effectively
  • Schedule customer and vendor pick-ups and deliveries
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and all inventory secured
  • Provide instruction and lead others to successfully carry out operations

The ideal candidate

  • Has a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years work-related experience, preferably working in a manufacturing environment
  • 1+ years international shipping and logistics experience
  • Must be highly detail and process oriented
  • Should have forklift, Bobcat and hand tool experience and meet the physical requirements of the job
  • Has excellent time management skills, service oriented, and self-directed
  • Can use MS Office and MRP software programs
  • Has a clean driving record

The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:

  • Employees must be able to lift at least 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 75 pounds at times
  • Walk, stand on concrete floor and be mobile up to eight hours at a time
  • Vision within normal ranges, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity
  • Bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl
  • Reach below, at and above shoulder height
