Job Details

The Accounts Payable Accounting specialists performs accounting and tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing ofaccounts payable transactions.  Payroll knowledge and experience is a must for this position.

Essential Functions and Duties:

•  Review payables invoices, resolve invoice discrepancies, and enter into system for payment
• Sort and match invoices and check requests
• Prepare and process accounts payable checks and credit card transactions. 
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• Reconcile statements
• Assist forwarders or Allied with questions regarding payables
• Assist Accounting Supervisor with other duties as assigned.

• General knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Basic knowledge of accounting software
• Interpersonal communication
