Silk Screen Printer

We are seeking a self-motivated individual to learn the art of garment printing.  You will learn all aspects of silk screen printing from the initial making of the silk screen to the final production on either an automatic press or a manual press.  We are seeking someone who is team-oriented and willing to work hard. A positive attitude, competence, and enthusiasm are required. Must be organized, a multi-tasker, and a problem-solver.  Must be able to stand for hours at a time, have good upper body strength and be able to pick up 40 pounds.  You must also appreciate good music.

Responsibilities

• Learn how silk screens are coated, cleaned, and prepped for printing
• Learn the art of mixing ink colors to match pantone chart
• Learn to register multi-colored prints on garments
• Learn how to load and off-load garments onto the press
• Cross check counts to work orders
• Coordinate with the Sales team with the print to ensure quality and correctness
• Learn quality control 
• Be able to take advice from others
• Take up other duties as assigned

Pay / Hours

Full Time - $16.5 + DOE / 8:30a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
