POSITION SUMMARY:

Mantech Mechanical Services, LLC is seeking a Warehouse/Expeditor to inventory, maintain and assist in managing two workshops and to ensure all team members have the materials/equipment needed to execute projects efficiently and effectively. The Warehouse/Expeditor is responsible for ordering, storing and distributing tools and equipment across multiple locations. The Warehouse/Expeditor shall also be responsible for overseeing maintenance and tracking of all Mantech Mechanical Services, LLC fleet vehicles.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for packaging, loading and manifesting ALL jobsite materials and tools for shipment to remote and in town areas (Delivery methods vary from trucks to air freight)
• Implement and maintain a consistent tracking process for all materials and tools
• Manage inventory and ordering cycles
• Price shop among suppliers; obtain the best price for the product
• Take deliveries, audit against what was ordered, track back orders
• Restock inventory; maintain highly organized and clean storage areas
• Go to multiple vendors daily, keep track of paperwork
• Keep the shop yard clean and organized
• Implement and maintain a check out system for designated tool and equipment
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by direct supervisor

WORK HOURS:

In general, this position is Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm unless otherwise specified by the direct supervisor. *Some overtime may be required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school graduate or GED Equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Personal transportation to and from shop location
• Forklift experience/certification
• Basic construction knowledge, experience in the industry or training
• Highly organized, attention to detail
• Ability to manage last minute changes
• Personable, quick learner, strong communication skills
• Passionate about the plumbing and mechanical industry; looking to start a career

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience working in the plumbing industry or with similar materials
• Stocking or retail experience in a distribution warehouse or center
• Demonstrated proficiency using Excel and other computer-based systems

COMPENSATION:

The starting “expected performance” salary is $46,800. Alternative starting compensation values may be evaluated based on background and previous experience.
