We currently have an opening for an Armed Security Officer positions in the Juneau area. This is a great opportunity if you are retired or active military, prior law enforcement or have security experience.  PREFER SOMEONE WITH AN ARMED ALASKA STATE SECURITY LICENSE BUT WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WITH CREDENTIALS!

Job Description
-Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
-Maintain site security and watching for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
-Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits
-Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
-Provide assistance to customers, employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner

You Provide
- PRIOR LAW ENFORCEMENT OR MILITARY OR SECURITY EXPERIENCE
-Ability to stand 100% of shift and physically restrain others
-Reliable transportation
-Basic computer skills to include word and outlook
-Great communication/writing skills
-ALASKA STATE SECURITY LICENSE!
-Flexible working schedule
-18 years of age and older
-DRIVERS LICENSE and clean driving abstract
-Pass pre-employment drug testing
-Starting Wage $27-$30 per hour /DOE
