Glaciers Edge Maintenance LLC is hiring individuals interested in maintaining high end residential lawn care and snow removal clients in South Anchorage.

We are a small, owner operated lawn care and snow removal company in South Anchorage seeking A highly motived individual to join our small but awesome team. This position requires a clean driving license. This job includes but isn't limited to using commercial grade walk behind and stand on mowers, electric and gas weed trimmers, backpack leaf blowers, thatcher's, aerators, raking leaves, and a lot of walking in all Alaska weather conditions (rain delay days do occur, but are not common).

You will be working alongside the owners and our long-term employees, if you have a desire to learn, we can teach you!

*Familiar with lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, thatcher's and other various lawn equipment
*Reliable self-transportation to our shop on the south side each morning by 7:55am
*Capable of lifting 60lbs
*Clean driving record and license
*Alcohol and drug free during the work days.

This is not your typical 9-5 schedule. You must be capable of working on call 7 days a week 7am-7pm October 15th-April 15th for the snow season, where you will be shoveling residential walkways in south anchorage. Our summer schedule is more regular with no weekends required, but 10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday, with the occasional Friday rain delays or shop maintenance days.

This position starts August 10th . It is a year-round position with a minimum of 20 hours a week guaranteed in the winter (more hours available if you have other skills like welding), even if it does not snow. If mowing lawns 4 days a week sounds tedious, and you have construction experience, we can rotate you over to our Property Maintenance team as well.

This position starts at $25/hour. We offer paid holidays after 90 days of employment, all the work hour snacks and drinks you can handle, and plenty of opportunities to learn new skills.
