Store Manager Job Description
NEW LOCATION – MEADOW LAKES STORE
Valley Charities Inc is a locally owned non-profit organization serving the residents of Mat Su Valley with various programs since 1956. One such program is our turn-A-leaf Thrift Store. This is a secondhand retail store that receives and processes donated items for re-sale.
We are opening a New Store. This position will be responsible for roll out and set up of this new store.
Valley Charities supports our community with a variety of programs and look for employees who are like minded and enjoy helping others by using their experience to enhance the operation on our Thrift Store.
Experience: Five years of retail experience preferred, with a minimum of 2 years` experience supervising or managing between 2 and 10 staff members.
Scope of Work:
This position will perform a variety of tasks, applying management skills and their abilities to ensure a productive flow of merchandise sold at our thrift store. This position requires leadership skills and will represent our company and themselves as a positive manner to customers and as a role model to staff.
The Store Manager will work under the direct supervision of the Executive Director.
