About the Opportunity

This opportunity is for current U.S. law students and other qualified legal professionals to contribute legal expertise to AI training and evaluation projects. Contractors will review legal documents, verify legal accuracy, and provide detailed feedback to improve AI model reasoning and performance. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and annotate complex U.S. legal documents.
• Draft, edit, and refine legal content for AI training and evaluation.
• Perform cite-checking and ensure accurate Bluebook citation formatting.
• Explain complex legal concepts and reasoning clearly in writing.
• Verify legal accuracy, consistency, and reliability of provided content.
• Communicate with project stakeholders to address questions and clarifications.
• Contribute to improving project guidelines and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a U.S. law school; relevant J.D. holders, lawyers, and paralegals may also qualify.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. legal systems, legal research, and legal writing conventions.
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical reasoning, and cite-checking skills.
• Strong proficiency in Bluebook citation formatting.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex legal issues clearly and concisely.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a degree from a T14 (Top 14) U.S. law school.
• Law review or legal journal editorial experience; this is required for law students.
• Relevant editorial experience for other legal contributors.
• Experience reviewing legal documents and verifying legal citations.

Compensation

• $50–$80 per hour.
