The Department of Corrections, Division of Institutions is recruiting for a Criminal Justice Technician 1 position at the Anchorage Correctional Complex (ACC) located in Anchorage, Alaska.
What You Will Be Doing:
This position, located in theProperty Section at the Anchorage Correctional Complex (ACC), is responsible for independently managing inmate property and financial accounts for 800–1,000 inmates. Duties include maintaining accurate records in ACOMS, safeguarding inmate funds, preparing deposits, ensuring proper accountability, and coordinating the return of property and funds upon release while addressing inmate inquiries related to property or money.

The Working Environment You Can Expect:
This position works as part of a team alongside Correctional Officers, following a one-week-on/one-week-off, 75-hour rotation schedule that alternates between day and night shifts every 13 weeks.
