Driver HelperWe are looking to hire a highly efficient driver helper to assist company drivers with all deliveries.Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Shred cardboard materials for use as packagingStacking and storing palletsLifting repetitively up to 50lbsKeeps company grounds free of litter and debrisSweep and maintain warehouse clutter freeAccompanies drivers to help unload freight at customer locationsOpen to learning new thingsComplies with company safety procedures in the workplaceOther duties as assignedAll employees are responsible for food safety and are expected to notify the appropriate manager, supervisor, or key personnel if they witness any compromise to food safety or quality.Required skills and experience:Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs frequentlyAbility to work in a refrigerated warehouse environment for up to 8 hours per shiftAbility to work as a team member-works as a co-workerCommunicator- Ability to communicate effectively and efficientlyAbility to work independentlyAbility to follow written or verbal instructionsAbility to solve routine problems and solve basic mathAbility to understand and follow all safety rules, procedure manuals, and diagramsWarehouse experience helpful but not necessaryRiding pallet jack experience preferred, not requiredAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.This is a safety-sensitive position.This employer participates in E-Verify and will provide the Social Security Administration and if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security with information from each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.We do not provide H1-B sponsorships at this time.Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
