This is an entry‑level position providing training and room for growth. This is an hourly position starting at $18.00/hour and requires candidates who are available for full‑time hours.ResponsibilitiesOur Porters work in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring vehicles arrive and depart to the appropriate store locations. Porters are trusted to drive Kendall vehicles safely and represent the Kendall brand. The role provides ample opportunities for career advancement within the automotive industry.Job duties include moving and parking service vehicles as needed, communicating and providing superior customer service to service clients, directing service customers to the appropriate advisor, obtaining basic information from vehicles to assist with check‑in process, retrieving parts and supplies, operating snow removal equipment, washing exterior of vehicles, vacuuming interiors of vehicles, and performing janitorial tasks to keep the service drive clean and presentable.Work is performed equally inside and outside. The majority of job duties are completed while standing or walking, with bending and twisting to enter and exit vehicles frequently. Lifting 20 pounds occasionally, and rarely up to 50 pounds, will be required.RequirementsCandidates must have the capacity to operate a wide variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, vans, and hybrid models, and must be able to drive both automatic and manual transmissions.
