This position provides static security, access control, property patrol, and surveillance services for residential communities, offices, courtyards, pools, and other high-value properties.We are seeking professional officers with strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and loss prevention. If you are looking for a long-term career in the private security industry, we provide paid training and advancement opportunities.Must be willing to obtain an Alaska Guard License upon hire.ResponsibilitiesPerform access control and perimeter security to protect property and residentsMonitor premises and maintain a visible security presenceConduct routine patrols of assigned areasComplete detailed incident reports and daily activity reports (DARs) using mobile reporting softwareRespond to disturbances and de-escalate conflicts professionallyProvide excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and clientsCommunicate effectively with supervisors regarding incidents, hazards, or safety concernsSafeguard company-issued equipment (radio, keys, access cards, etc.)Follow post orders, site procedures, and company policies at all timesWill conduct and deliver various dedicated services that reflect the company's values, expectations, and consistent service in alignment with site specific instructions/post orders.Will write detailed and accurate reports utilizing company technology and web or app-based software during each shift that align with site instruction/post orders.Ability to consistently arrive on time for shifts, clock in and out, meet time commitments, follow instruction, follow dress code and appearance standards and expectationsInteracting with internal and external customers on site cultivating a customer service relationship while striving to provide peace of mind.Consistently communicates with the Advanced Dedicated Guard or the Dedicated Branch Supervisor to promptly report any customer or property related information and concerns.Responsible for the care of any Signal equipment assigned during shift including radios, access keys/cards, vehicles, and devices, etc.Consistently deescalate issues through communication in a professional and prompt manner.Manage daily activities while meeting key benchmarks and expectations set by the Dedicated Branch Supervisor such as reporting standards and service quality.Communicate with the Dedicated Branch Supervisor to receive and disseminate information through Branch Supervisor Daily Scrum, such as the client needs and post order changes to ensure operational excellence and efficiency.Requirements18 years of age or olderHigh school diploma or GEDAbility to pass a background check and drug screeningReliable transportationAbility to obtain an Alaska Guard License (Guard Card)Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 20 lbsProfessional appearance and dependable attendancePrior experience in security, military, law enforcement, corrections, loss prevention, or customer service is a plus but not required.Complete training modules within first monthExcellent organization, oral, and written communication skillsDemonstrate a commitment to service, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all timesMust be able to move equipment weighing up to 20 poundsEqual Opportunity EmployerSignal is an equal opportunity employer.
