Job Title: Stores Clerk
Location: Anchorage, AK
Department: Materials
Reports To: SR Manager Stores
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: Stores Clerk is responsible for the day-to-day decisions about stock levels in coordination with the Materials Supervisor.
Essential functions:
- Responsible for the Stores and Stock room location for parts/materials to support line maintenance.
- Monitors stock levels in coordination with the materials team.
- Ensures an adequate inventory to support National Airlines aircraft(s) are maintained.
- Oversees the shipping, forwarding, and routing component parts to outstations.
- Responsible for routing, forwarding, and shipping component parts to vendors for required repair or overhaul(s).
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous aircraft materials and inventory experience preferred.
- Must speak, read, and write English fluently.
- Valid passport to travel domestically and internationally without restrictions
- Must possess and maintain a valid Driver License and a record that meets our company's insurance standards.
- Must be well groomed and maintain a professional appearance.
- Regular attendance and/or punctuality are required.
- Must have a positive attitude.
- Must pass a background check which includes a pre-employment drug test, finger printing and criminal history records check (CHRC).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country in which the position is located.
- Ability to use technical manuals, good mechanical aptitude and solve problems effectively.
- Computer skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other Office programs
