Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting within an acute hospital environment
• Participate in on-call rotation, including one day per week and every 4th/5th weekend (Friday 1800 – Monday 0730)
• Work approximately one Saturday per month as part of the regular 4-shift weekly schedule
• Float within scope of practice to EP or IR departments as facility needs require
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma facility

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska RN license (pending license accepted for submission; license must be in hand prior to offer)
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Willingness to work 2 of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
• Primary residence must be located at least 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Electrophysiology (EP) or Interventional Radiology (IR)
• Familiarity with on-call responsibilities in a high-acuity cardiac environment
• Hepatitis B vaccination (titers and declinations are not accepted by this facility)
