Details Acute care, Magnet-designated hospital with 152 staffed beds MRI department with a daily caseload of approximately 10 exams per technologist Procedures include Head/Neck, Spine, Thorax, Abdomen/Pelvis, Musculoskeletal, and MRA/MRV exams GE scanner used in the department Charting performed in Cerner 4x10 hour day shifts, Tuesday through Friday, with varied start times between 6:00 AM and 7:30 PM On-call may be required for holiday coverage Floating within clinical scope is possible per facility policy No weekend requirement Requirements Current BLS and ARRT (MR) certifications required Minimum of 1 year of experience acceptable if the candidate has 4 years of scanning experience; otherwise, 2 years of MRI experience required Experience with GE scanners required Proficiency with IV starts required ER and Level II Trauma experience required Proficiency scanning Head/Neck, Spine, Thorax, Abdomen/Pelvis, Musculoskeletal, and MRA/MRV exams required State license required if applicable Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Schedules are posted weekly; block scheduling requests will be considered but are not guaranteed All time off requests should be submitted at the time of initial consideration Scrubs of any color or pattern are acceptable No-cost parking is available for travelers at the nearby parking structure American Traveler Job ID P-719761.
