We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic with strong experience in heavy equipment and vehicle maintenance.Required Equipment KnowledgeLoadersSweepersLandscape EquipmentPressure Washing SystemsSnow PushersPlow TrucksSpreadersResponsibilitiesRun diagnostic tests and analyze results.Repair or replace engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, braking systems, and other major components.Maintain working knowledge of engines, transmissions, differentials, A/C systems, and suspensions.Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to determine unit condition and identify deficiencies.Read and interpret electrical and air system schematics.Perform DOT inspections and repairs as required.Test equipment after repair/assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer specifications.Maintain shop cleanliness and organization.Continue developing technical skills through ongoing training opportunities.QualificationsStrong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and a solid work ethic.Must hold a valid driver's license and be able to pass a DOT medical exam.Must submit to random drug testing.Compensation & SchedulePay: $35.00 – $42.00 per hour (DOE)Schedule: Year‑round, Monday–Friday (occasional after‑hours call‑ins or field repairs may be required).Overtime: Possible, especially during winter months.Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.#J-18808-Ljbffr
