This includes opening cases, checking receiving dates, and proper case rotation in the pick slots.Work with warehouse staff to check back stock products on upper‑tier racking.Work with sales and buying departments to recommend movement of product to the repack department and/or clearance.Work closely with buyers, QA, and operations to communicate needs and opportunities.Participate in internal and external quality audits. Assist with third party and customer audits to obtain or maintain certifications.Report to management on quality and food safety issues and trends.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsMinimum of one year experience in warehouse shipping and handling, preferred.Experience with WMS AS400.Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office).Inventory management experience is a plus.Must be able to safely operate all warehouse equipment.In‑depth knowledge of the fresh produce or perishables industry.Excellent written, verbal, and oral presentation skills.Ability to plan, organize, implement, and follow through on projects.Ability to perform well under pressure and short deadlines.Critical thinking and logical reasoning skills to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.Strong communicative skills at all levels of management.Adaptability/flexibility and ability to react quickly to changing requirements.Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs frequently.Ability to stoop, kneel, and reach regularly.Ability to work flexible hours and days, weekends, and holidays.Additional InformationAll personal information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
