OverviewUAA Facilities Planning and Construction (FP&C) leads planning, budgeting, contract management, space management, and construction of professionally designed buildings across UAA campuses. The Project Manager coordinates planning, engineering, and construction activities, supporting FP&C initiatives and serving as the main liaison between University staff, faculty, students, campuses, and the local community.ResponsibilitiesOversee planning, engineering, and construction activities for FP&C projects.Act as Owner Representative for a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring delivery within budget, scope, and schedule.Advises departments on best practices and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Engage with diverse stakeholders, both independently and as part of a team, exercising sound judgment and decision‑making.Minimum QualificationsMinimum five years' experience in planning, design, construction contract management, or related field.Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or similar from an accredited university.Unrestricted Alaska driver's license with a clean record meeting UA Safe Driving criteria.Master's degree and/or professional registration or certification is preferred.Position DetailsLocation: UAA campus, Anchorage.Full‑time, exempt staff position; Salary Grade 82.Competitive salary and employee benefits package, including retirement options, annual leave, paid holidays, tuition waivers, and health coverage.The University of Alaska is an Equal Opportunity/Equal Access Employer.
