This entry-level position plays an important role in upholding our standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and teamwork.Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):Clean and reset tables quickly and efficiently between guests.Remove used dishes, glassware, and utensils and transport them to the dishwashing area.Maintain cleanliness and organization in all guest service areas, including the dining room and service stations.Assist servers in delivering food, beverages, and other guest requests as needed.Support the service team by keeping water glasses filled and tables tidy.Ensure bussing carts and trays are safely and efficiently managed.Follow all sanitation, safety, and cleanliness procedures.Work collaboratively with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent certification required.Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred but not required.Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Excellent teamwork and communication skills.Must hold or be able to obtain an Alaska Food Handler Card within 30 days of hire (failure to comply may result in reduction of hours until provided).Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.Required CertificationsCurrent TAPS (Training for Alcohol Professionals) certification.Level 1 Beer Server certification through the Cicerone Certification Program (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire).Competitive hourly wage401kHealth, dental, and vision insurance offeredPaid time offCareer growth opportunities within a fast-growing hospitality groupEmployee discounts on meals and in-house products at all NHG locationsDynamic, team-oriented work environmentEqual Opportunity Employer Statement:Northern Hospitality Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
