Job Description Job Description Construction Transactions & Litigation Associate Attorney (Midlevel) Direct Counsel is seeking a Construction Transactions & Litigation Associate to join a highly respected Am Law 100 firm. This opportunity is available in Seattle, Portland, or Anchorage and offers the chance to work on sophisticated construction and design matters for a diverse client base across both transactional and litigation matters.This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys a mix of front-end construction contracting and back-end dispute resolution work, and who is looking to take on meaningful responsibility within a collaborative and nationally recognized real estate and construction practice.Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate construction and design agreementsAdvise clients on contract strategy, risk allocation, and project-related issuesSupport and manage construction-related disputes, claims, and litigation mattersWork with commercial and public construction projects across a variety of industriesHandle agreements utilizing both custom and industry-standard forms, including AIA, AGC, and DBIA contractsCollaborate closely with partners and clients on ongoing project and dispute mattersQualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience handling construction and design contracts and related litigation mattersExperience gained at a mid-size or large law firm or within an in-house legal departmentStrong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skillsFamiliarity with AIA, AGC, and DBIA contract formsExperience supporting or handling construction claims, disputes, or litigationExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters effectivelyActive bar admission and residency in the state of the office location where basedWhy Join This Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity to join a nationally recognized practice known for handling complex construction and development matters.
