If you're looking for a place where your contributions have real impact, you'll fit right in.We do not accept unsolicited resumes from third-party recruiters.Job DescriptionRESPEC seeks an experienced Civil Engineer located in our Anchorage, AK location.The Engineer will work with a team of multi-discipline engineers/EITs in preparing professional work products, including water and wastewater utility design, site grading, stormwater management, sediment and erosion control, and Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation permitting. Additional responsibilities include:Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to resolve our clients' technical challengesDevelop project designs, plan drawings, engineering reports, technical specifications, and other contract deliverablesTrack project progress within established project scopes, budgets, and schedules and alert project managers of any issues that may affect themSupport other market sectors on design projects as workload dictatesPrepare clear and concise written communications and participate in client and team meetingsPresent design projects, as required, as part of outreach to clients and the publicConduct research and write technical portions of proposals to assist in bringing in new workQualificationsThe ideal candidate will have the following:A bachelor's degree in civil engineering5+ years of civil engineering experience with an emphasis on designProficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel)The ability to contribute to multiple projects concurrentlyAn eye for detail and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlinesStrong verbal and written communication skillsPreferred qualifications include the following:A Professional Civil Engineer licenseAutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS experience (support will be provided by drafting technicians and EITs).Additional InformationCompensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise.
