You'll work with clients on critical problems—designing infrastructure, developing renewable energy solutions, and applying data‑driven technologies to mining and water systems.We do not accept unsolicited resumes from third‑party recruiters.Job DescriptionLocation: Anchorage, AKRESPEC seeks an experienced Civil Engineer to work with multi‑disciplinary engineers/EITs on professional work products, including water and wastewater utility design, site grading, stormwater management, sediment and erosion control, and Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation permitting.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams to resolve clients' technical challengesDevelop project designs, plan drawings, engineering reports, and technical specificationsTrack project progress within established scopes, budgets, and schedules and alert project managers of any issues that may affect themSupport other market sectors on design projects as workload dictatesPrepare clear written communications and participate in client and team meetingsPresent design projects as required to clients and the publicConduct research and write technical portions of proposals to assist in bringing in new workQualificationsBachelor's degree in civil engineering5+ years of civil engineering experience with an emphasis on designProficiency with Microsoft OfficeAbility to contribute to multiple projects concurrentlyDetail oriented and organized with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlinesStrong verbal and written communication skillsPreferred QualificationsProfessional Civil Engineer licenseExperience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS (support will be provided by drafting technicians and EITs)Compensation and BenefitsSalary depends on experience and expertise.
