Job Description Job Description We are seeking a hands-on part-time or full-time Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and daily operations of a 32,000 sq. ft. commercial office building in Midtown Anchorage. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with the building owner to ensure the property is well-maintained, safe, and welcoming for tenants and visitors.Responsibilities:- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of building maintenance, repair, and upkeep.- Maintain accurate documentation and daily maintenance logs.- Ensure building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) are functioning properly.- Communicate with tenants and vendors in a professional, customer-service oriented manner.- Schedule and supervise contractors as needed for specialized repairs.- Identify areas for preventative maintenance and improvement.Qualifications:- Must have reliable transportation- General knowledge of multiple trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.).- Strong organizational and documentation skills.- Friendly, approachable, and customer service oriented.- Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.- Prior facilities management or building maintenance experience preferred.What We Offer:- Competitive compensation (DOE).- Direct collaboration with ownership.- A stable, long-term role in a well-located Midtown Anchorage property.If you are a motivated problem solver who enjoys working with people and takes pride in keeping a building running smoothly, we'd love to hear from you!Please send your resume and cover letter.
