WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:The Fire Training Administrator develops and implements multiple fire service training programs for fire service agencies and organizations statewide. OUR ORGANIZATION, MISSION, AND CULTURE: The Division of Fire and Life Safetys Mission is to prevent the loss of life and property from fire and explosion. Fire safety is improved through three means. Enforcement, Engineering, and Education. The Bureau of Fire Accreditation, Standards and Training (BFAST) improves the Education part of the Divisions mission. The mission of BFAST is to provide fire training and public education services to the Alaskan fire service and all sectors of the Alaskan public.
