This position is responsible for efficient and profitable small tools operations through excellent planning and execution of the work. Provide mentorship to small tools staff while fostering strong communication with internal and external customers in a manner consistent with Company policies and procedures. Essential Job Accountabilities. Develop, update and periodically review a strategic plan for the small tools operations consistent with the region strategic plan. In conjunction with the Regional Manager and Business Manager, develop annual budgets and business plan each year detailing goals to be achieved. Perform and implement necessary inventory control measures to ensure field crews have all the essential tools to perform their jobs in a cost effective manner. Prepare and issue reports as needed on physical inventories, loss, damage or destroyed items to ensure accurate tracking, use and care of Granite small tool assets and supplies.
