The Department of Corrections, Division of Health & Rehabilitation Services, is recruiting for a Mental Health Clinician 3 position at the Anchorage Correctional Complex (ACC) located in Anchorage, Alaska. Watch Alaska DOC HARS video here: 68 dd 6 b 1 e 3 What You Will Be Doing:Under the supervision of the Deputy Chief Mental Health Officer, this position will:Coordinate mental health services for inmates housed at Anchorage Correctional Center West including within the Acute and Subacute Psychiatric Units. Screen and triage inmates presenting with a wide variety of diagnoses including severe and persistent mental illness, behavior problems, organic disorders, alcohol/drug abuse, developmental disabilities and personality disorders. Provide treatment planning, mental status exams, and risk assessments through the evaluation of existing history, prior psychological testing, clinical observations, and direct interviews.
