The position performs technical work associated with environmental compliance, including monitoring air quality, landfill gas, surface runoff, groundwater, and leachate for adherence to applicable regulations and permits issued by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC), the Anchorage Water and Wastewater Utility and other agencies. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that SWS meets its environmental compliance obligations while supporting the effective operation of its disposal facilities.
