Job Details

This position reviews projects related to streetlights, load centers, storm drain lift stations, and storm drain thaw systems, reviews construction design documents, and provides review comments to project managers. Provides subject matter expertise on municipal electrical facilities and drafts responses to inquiries and complaints by other agencies, community councils, private citizens, legislative, and municipal assembly members. This position also designs and preparing plans, and construction contract documents for municipal capital improvement projects utilizing computer-aided design, drafting software applications, and recognized design criteria. Work includes scoping, planning, designing, and preparing construction documents, including drawings, specifications, bid proposals, and detailed estimates of probable construction costs for new or upgraded municipal improvement projects.
