Job DescriptionInsight Global is seeking a Remote Systems Engineer III for our telecommunications client. This engineer will play a critical role in a large‑scale cable modem platform migration, supporting the transition from CommScope to Harmonic. The ideal candidate has deep hands‑on experience in DOCSIS environments, cable modem migrations, and ISP networks, along with strong documentation and procedural skills.Day‑to‑DaySupport a large‑scale migration project transitioning cable modems from CommScope to Harmonic.Write and execute Methods of Procedure (MOPs) for migration activities.Document completed work, changes, and outcomes in detail.Perform packet inspection and analysis using ActiveLogic or Sandvine.Configure cable modems and manage IP address assignment via DHCP platforms (Incognito or equivalent).Collaborate with engineering and network teams to ensure smooth customer migrations.Skills and Requirements4+ years of hands‑on experience with Harmonic and CommScope.Proven experience with DOCSIS environments.Experience performing cable modem migrations, including forklift migrations to new platforms.Strong background working within an ISP / cable modem environment.Experience writing Methods of Procedure (MOPs) and post‑implementation documentation.Experience configuring cable modems and assigning IP addresses via DHCP; experience using ActiveLogic or Sandvine for packet inspection.Experience with Incognito (or similar) DHCP platforms.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
