The Regulatory Commission of Alaska is recruiting for a Communications Common Carrier Specialist 4 position located in Anchorage! What you will be doing:In addition to supervising, scheduling and coordinating the work of the Common Carrier Section, the Communications Common Carrier Specialist (CCCS) 4 conducts detailed technical analysis of telecommunications filings of the highest complexity. The CCCS 4 applies extensive knowledge of economics, accounting, communications technology and engineering, rate development policies, and other telecommunications disciplines to develop, defend, recommend and administer regulations, policies and decisions on telecommunications cases of an unusual or complex nature. The CCCS 4 prepares highly detailed, well-supported recommendations to the Commission for presentation both in writing and orally, in public and adjudicatory settings.
