Position: EEG Tech Req ID: 63932 Start Date: ASAP Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Years of Experience: 2 Travel Experience Required: No National EEG Tech certification REQUIRED Work Settings: - Adult ICU - Emergency Department - Level 1 Trauma - NICU - PICU Procedures: - Ambulatory EEG - ECI Brain Death - Electrode Placement - EMG - Long Term Monitoring/Video Monitoring - Portable Recording - Seizure studies - Sleep Deprived EEG - Sleep EEG Additional Skills: - Portable Recording in ICU, NICU, PICU Call Requirements: - 1 night per week - 1 weekend per 4 weeks Patient Age Groups: - Neonates - Infants - Adolescents - Pediatrics - Adults - Geriatrics Patient Diagnoses: - Responsible for set-up of EEG reads and communication with Neuro providers. - Covers inpatient pediatrics and adults as well as outpatient pediatrics. Special Procedures/Unit Details: - Ambulatory clinic hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm - Coverage of 24hr call for the hospital 365 days a year; call is shared amongst the team.
