Since being acquired by Ionic Partners, we're focused on driving operational efficiency, returning to profitable growth after a period of investment, and adding more acquisitions. We're not done, and we're looking to double our impact in the next three years and are looking for a CFO to help lead this next phase of growth.As one of the most senior leaders in the organization, you will join a top-notch team all singularly focused on driving growth, continuous improvement, and developing a company that excels at helping our customers realize efficiencies and grow their businesses. As CFO, you will be front and center on such initiatives, as well as act as one of the key faces of the company for investors, lenders and customers. If you are ready to leverage your financial and strategic expertise to help CXT accelerate its trajectory and lead its markets, we want to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesStrategic LeadershipCollaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to identify and address key business opportunities and risks and develop the internal processes, controls and platforms to drive scalable growth across functionsShape our strategic direction by providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis and market trendsDrive long-range financial planning and scenario modeling to support strategic decision-making and sustainable growthRepresent CXT in front of investors, lenders, and potential partners and acquirors, showcasing our financial health, operational excellence, and strategic plansM&A LeadershipLead critical M&A activities, from due diligence to integration planning and executionCollaborate with legal, operations, and third-party advisors to execute successful transactionsLead the financial integration of acquisitions, including systems alignment, reporting, and synergy trackingPrepare the company for future strategic transactions, including exit readiness and diligence processesFinancial Oversight and ManagementPrepare and present financial performance and strategic insights to the BoardImplement scalable finance processes and platforms that consolidate legacy systems, streamline decision making and execution, and facilitate integration of new acquisitions and product linesEnsure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and processes, developing controls and risk mitigation strategies to safeguard company interestsLead budgeting, board, and monthly reporting cycles, working closely with other leaders to provide constant visibility into current and expected performanceOwn key SaaS financial metrics, including ARR, retention, CAC/LTV, and unit economics, partnering closely with Revenue Operations to drive data-driven decision makingRequirements15+ years of total finance experience5+ years in a software company, as a CFO or SVP/VP of Finance5+ years in a commercial business organization, as a Controller/VP Finance4+ years in a recognized accounting firm, preferably Big 4 (training through accounting and audit engagements) or as a business consultant or investment bankerProven leadership in driving cross-functional change or transformationExperience in leading initial and subsequent financial auditsExperience in M&A diligence, structuring and/or integration activitiesExperience working with SaaS companiesExcellent communication and presentation skillsFluency in EnglishNice to haveExperience driving transformations, including process improvements and automationDemonstrated usage of AI agents is a plusBenefits100% Remote and Global: Enjoy the freedom to live your best life from anywhere in the worldFlexible Work Environment: Work at times that suit you best.
