Verovian Nursing Agency is looking for a competent Registered Nurse in the Labour and Delivery Unit to join a team of healthcare professionals located in Anchorage, Alaska.
Y ou will be given a crucial role in delivering special care to expectant mothers and their newborns throughout the labor-delivering process. Your expertise and compassionate approach will significantly enhance the safety, comfort, and overall well-being of both mothers and infants during this vital phase of healthcare.

- Assess and monitor expectant mothers during labor, evaluating vital signs, fetal heart rates, and contractions.
- Collaborate with obstetricians and midwives during childbirth, ensuring safe and smooth delivery.
- Care for newborns immediately after birth, conducting assessments and interventions as needed.
- Educate expectant mothers and their families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care and guide infant care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing institution.
- 1 year of experience in labor and delivery
- Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
- Previous experience in labor and delivery nursing is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and emotionally charged environment.
- Compassion, patience, and dedication to providing exceptional patient-centered care.
