We are currently seeking a full-time MRI Scheduler who is committed to providing superior service and eager to grow within a highly respected orthopaedic practice to work from home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule MRI examinations according to physicain orders, clinical urgency, and scanner availability
• Obtain and verify patient demographics, insurance information and authorization requirements
• Review MRI safety questionnaires and screen patients for contradictions (is, implants, devices, claustrophobia, etc.)
• Communicate appointment details, preparation instructions and arrival times to patients
• Coordinate with radiologists, technologists, nursing staff, and referring providers
• Manage rescheduling, cancellations, and add-on appointments as needed
• Maintain accurate records within the scheduling and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Assist department with various administrative tasks as needed

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

• Medical office experience preferred
• Understanding of all safety protocols and procedures
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Dedication to providing exceptional patient care and service
