Emergency Vehicle Installation Technician

The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, automotive knowledge, and 12V experience. The Emergency Vehicle Installation Technician plays a critical role in ensuring that our first responders operate safe, reliable, and effective vehicles. The Emergency Vehicle Installation Technicians are tasked with installing the following equipment: Emergency Vehicle Lighting and Control Systems, Sirens, Prisoner Transport Systems, Radios, Radar, In-Car-Camera Systems, Equipment Consoles and Cargo Cabinets, Weapon and Drone mounting systems, and front push bars.

Schedule:

• Full Time-Hourly Monday Friday 8:00 am- 5:00 pm
• Some overtime is available

Attributes of a Strong Candidate:

• Proven 12V experience
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics
• Ability to work with hand and power tools such as screw drivers, wrenches, hand drills, etc.
• Capability to bend, twist, reach, and lift to 50 lbs. without assistance
• Aptitude in mechanical, electrical, and electronic components from various sources is a plus
• Strong Work Ethic
• Must be Punctual
• Capacity to work independently and/or in a team environment
• Pre-Employment Background Check

Primary Responsibilities:

• Removal of factory interior and exterior equipment and parts
• Installation of specialized emergency vehicle Lightbars, Emergency lighting, Push Bumpers, Sirens, Controllers, Speakers, Partitions, Window Bars, Prisoner seats, Gun racks, in-car video, Computers, License Plate Recognition, and much more
• Attention to detail as it relates to job progress and tracking of hours
