Summary
Verigent's client is seeking an experienced Avaya VoIP Technician to support and maintain enterprise voice systems serving over 1,000 users. This role is responsible for administering Avaya VoIP solutions, including configuring digital, IP, and analog phones, performing moves, adds, and changes (MACs), and implementing system updates and feature enhancements.
Responsibilities
• Configure and program digital, IP, and analog phone sets.
• Perform Moves, Additions, and Changes (MACs) as required.
• Implement requested feature modifications and system updates.
• Provide end-user support for voicemail systems, including: Mailbox setup and configuration, Password resets, and Adding or deleting user mailboxes.
• Deliver break/fix services for telephone equipment and peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve phone and data cabling issues.
• Maintain knowledge of station cabling, jacks, and wiring standards.
• Assist in identifying and resolving vendor-related line or circuit issues.
• Troubleshoot problems related to lines and trunks.
• Coordinate with service providers to resolve telecommunication service issues and act as the primary point of contact.
Qualifications
• 3-5+ years of relevant telecommunications experience.
• Ability to obtain public trust required.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
