Main Responsibilities

As a US FOODS® Delivery Driver, you play a crucial role in our operations, acting as a key representative of our brand. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing outstanding customer service.
• Timely delivery of orders while maintaining productivity.
• Using a hand truck for unloading products and placing items in the customer storage area.
• Performing manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds.
• Managing frequent stops throughout your work shift.
• Delivering products safely in various weather conditions.
• Confirming delivery of items with customers.
• Collecting payment (cash or checks) when necessary.

What You Bring

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid CDL Class A license issued by the state of residence with the required endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid U.S. driver's license issued by the state of residence with necessary endorsements, if required.
• Clean driving record: no more than two convictions for traffic violations in the past two years; no DUI convictions in the last three years; no driver's license suspensions in the last three years.
• At least six months of commercial driving experience or three months in food and beverage delivery required.
• Must pass a DOT physical.

Compensation is based on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, and other factors as applicable by law. The anticipated base pay rate for this role ranges from $29.83 to $35.50 per hour. This position also includes overtime pay. Benefits may consist of health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement plans, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability insurance, employee stock purchase plans, and life insurance.
