Your Role at OPA:
As a Surgery Scheduler at OPA you will greatly contribute to the team by ensuring patient surgical needs by working collaboratively to ensure patients are scheduled for surgical appointments.

Surgery Scheduler, OPA Lake Otis Anchorage - Anchorage, Full-time
Orthopedic Physicians Alaska
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Salary Range: $19.00 - $30.00 hourly

Your Role at OPA:
As a Surgery Scheduler at OPA you will greatly contribute to the team by ensuring patient surgical needs by working collaboratively to ensure patients are scheduled for surgical appointments.
What You'll Do:
- Primarily works with surgeons, medical staff, and patients to obtain a surgery date and schedule all components of surgery
- Answer patient calls and follow up with patients
- Able to handle multiple interruptions during the day while maintaining a high volume of surgery orders
- You thrive in a fast-paced work environment and can handle multiple tasks at once
- You have outstanding customer service skills
- You consider compassionate, skillful patient care a top priority
- You work well in a team environment
- You have experience operating a personal computer using a variety of software applications
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of clinical experience
- Ability to understand medical charts and diagnosis for billing purposes
- Experience using an electronic health records (EHR) software
