The Salvation Army (Western) - - Responsibilities: Oversees production for high volume kitchen preparing 500+ meals per day for the Older Alaskans Program (Meals on Wheels) and McKinnell House Homeless Shelter for families (fathers and/or mothers) with children; Coordinates with Food Service Manager in menu preparation, ordering, and storing food; Provides oversight and prepares all food according to preplanned menu cycle; Supervises and gives direction to kitchen staff; Operates all institutional kitchen equipment
