Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Line Cook to join our culinary team. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes and brand standards while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen.This role is essential in delivering high-quality food and ensuring an excellent dining experience for our guests.Essential Duties & Responsibilities* Prepare and cook menu items according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines* Set up and stock assigned kitchen stations with necessary supplies* Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet hotel/restaurant standards* Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations at all times* Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures* Monitor food inventory and communicate shortages to supervisors* Assist with receiving and storing deliveries* Maintain a safe working environment and comply with health regulations* Work collaboratively with kitchen and service team members* Assist with prep work and cleaning tasks as neededQualifications* Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred* Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment* Strong attention to detail and organization* Ability to follow recipes and instructions* Reliable attendance and punctuality* Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays* Team-oriented with positive attitudePhysical Requirements* Ability to stand for long periods* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs* Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting* Ability to work in hot, fast-paced kitchen environmentPreferred Skills* Hotel or high-volume restaurant experience* Food Handler/Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain)* Knife skills and prep experience* Ability to multitask and work under pressure
