ProCare Home Medical continues to grow, and we're excited to add a driven, detail-focused Customer Service Representative to our Anchorage team. In this position, you'll work closely with patients, healthcare providers, insurance companies, and internal teams to ensure home medical equipment and supply orders are handled efficiently and correctly. Your work will directly support patient care and help people receive the services they rely on every day.

What You'll Do

• Process orders for durable medical equipment and supplies
• Communicate with patients, physicians, and insurance payers
• Verify insurance benefits and secure prior authorizations
• Accurately enter, update, and maintain electronic records
• Assist with billing and documentation when needed
• Provide professional, compassionate customer service by phone and in person

What We're Looking For

• Required experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations
• Required medical billing experience (Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care)
• Experience in a medical office or DME/HME setting preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Exceptional organization and attention to detail
• Comfort using computer systems and data entry tools
• Positive, team-oriented mindset
• Ability to multitask and work with urgency
• Knowledge of medical terminology

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Excellent phone and verbal communication skills (required)
• Typing speed of at least 45 WPM (required)
• 10-key by touch (preferred)
• Two years of healthcare or DME experience (preferred)
