The Health IT Systems Analyst oversees the administration, configuration, and optimization of departmental software & legacy database systems, including Electronic Health Records (EHR). The position ensures data quality, security, HIPAA compliance, and alignment with operational and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining reports and analytics, supporting program reporting needs, and coordinating data exchanges and interoperability with state and federal systems. The position collaborates with staff and vendors to manage system updates, enhancements, and change management, while documenting workflows and procedures. It also provides staff training and ongoing user support, serves as the primary technical liaison with vendors, and participates in special projects and emergency response activities as part of departmental and municipal incident management teams.
