This is a full-time, 40-hour/week powerhouse role rotating between our buzzing Anchorage, Eagle River, or Palmer locations. Enjoy flexible 8-hour or 10-hour shifts for the ultimate work-life harmony. You'll conquer patient scheduling, registration, co-pay/deductible collection, and incoming calls with finesse.

Qualifications:
  • 1+ years experience in a specialty medical practice preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Experience with medical pre-authorizations preferred.
  • Experience with multi-line telephone system, personal computers, and other common office equipment required.
  • Rotations to our Anchorage and Eagle River locations and regular attendance are absolute requirements of this position.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Job Duties Include:
  • Patient Scheduling: Accurately schedules all diagnostic procedures performed at the group practice. Explains pre-exam requirements and procedures.
  • Patient Registration: Accurately registers patients calling to schedule diagnostic procedures at the practice. Must be able to perform essential functions of registration.
  • Communications: Answers all incoming calls with a smile. Answers questions, refers calls to proper person or take messages.
  • Customer Service/Reception: Greets patients with a smile and treats each with respect and compassion. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills in all interactions with physicians, patients and practice personnel. Must be able to perform reception functions.
