Your Day at Lowe's

In your role as a Merchandising Services Associate, you will ensure signage, pricing, and displays are accurate, making it easy for customers to find what they need. You will be responsible for creating attractive product displays that are safe, clean, and accessible.

While most of your work will not involve direct customer interaction, you may engage with customers when necessary, answering questions and assisting them in locating merchandise.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute merchandising resets and service tasks following Lowe's guidelines, providing proof of completion for all assigned projects.
• Verify and prepare buyback items for shipment.
• Update wayfinding and product signage, maintaining accuracy throughout the store.
• Ensure visible pricing information and replace any missing labels.
• Enhance sales by organizing clearance items and arranging displays effectively around the store.
• Repair or replace any damaged signs or displays as needed.
• Communicate project schedules and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
• Analyze metrics and share feedback on project execution with store and corporate leaders.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills (addition and subtraction).
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and listening.
• Ability to use web-based applications for task completion.
• Capability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Lift 25 lbs unassisted or more than 25 lbs with assistance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience on the sales floor at Lowe's.
• Familiarity with product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up displays.
• Experience operating powered equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
• Working knowledge of essential tools, including hand tools and drills.

Travel Requirements

This position typically does not require travel, but occasional trips for meetings or training may be necessary.

Working Conditions

Lifting techniques will depend on the weight and volume of items handled. Follow guidelines for single and team lifts, and operate powered equipment as trained.
