Job Summary

The Digital Content & Social Creative Manager leads organic social strategy and end-to-end content production across a diverse portfolio of brands and campuses. This role focuses on the conceptualization, capture, and high-speed editing of platform-native video content designed to drive enrollment and brand awareness. By blending creative storytelling with data-driven refinement, the manager ensures all digital touchpoints-from internal communications to large-scale events-maintain a cohesive visual identity and a compelling brand voice.

Key Responsibilities

I. Social Media & Digital Content Creation (50%)

  • Concept, capture, and edit high-quality short-form and long-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Reddit.
  • Create static graphics, carousels, and simple motion content to support campaigns, announcements, and storytelling.
  • Produce additional content for internal use, presentations, campus initiatives, and event marketing as needed.
  • Execute day-to-day posting, scheduling, and publishing across assigned social platforms.
  • Translate brand priorities, campaigns, and program highlights into compelling, platform-native content.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, visual standards, and compliance guidelines.
II. Platform Strategy, Analytics & Optimization (25%)
  • Develop and maintain organic social media strategies by platform.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics including reach, engagement, follower growth, video views, watch time, saves, and shares.
  • Use insights to inform content direction, creative testing, posting cadence, and optimization.
  • Identify trends, emerging formats, and opportunities for experimentation.
  • Provide regular performance summaries and actionable recommendations.
III. Editing, Creative Tools & Workflow (15%)
  • Own video and graphic editing workflows using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Canva, or similar.
  • Develop repeatable templates, editing styles, and creative frameworks.
  • Organize and maintain content libraries and asset management systems.
  • Evaluate and leverage AI tools to support ideation, editing, caption writing, and efficiency.
IV. Collaboration & Campaign Support (10%)
  • Partner with brand, admissions, and campus teams to source stories and capture content.
  • Support brand launches, events, and campaigns with social-first and digital content.
  • Assist with influencer, ambassador, or creator collaborations when applicable.
  • Coordinate with paid media teams to supply high-performing organic creative for amplification (paid media experience not required).
Experience and Education Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience creating and managing digital and social media content.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative storytelling, video editing, and platform-native content.
  • Demonstrated experience publishing content on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Reddit.
  • Proficiency with modern editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Canva, etc.).
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience interpreting social performance data.
  • Excellent written and visual communication skills.
Experience and Education Preferred
  • Experience in education, workforce development, or youth-focused brands.
  • Experience capturing content in real-world environments (events, classrooms, campuses).
  • Familiarity with social scheduling and analytics tools (Hootsuite, Sprout, native analytics, etc.).
