Role Summary

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and organization throughout all Everts Air facilities to present a clean, professional and welcoming environment for all employees and visitors alike.

Compensation Starting at $18.00 p/hr

Key Duties

• Operate various equipment such as floor scrubbers, snow blowers, and lawn mowers to accomplish tasks.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines when using cleaning compounds.
• Perform extensive cleaning responsibilities, which include but are not limited to: using motorized cleaning machinery, mopping floors, relocating furniture, washing walls and windows, and disposing of waste.
• Restock paper supplies, hand sanitizer, soap, and other essentials in restrooms and kitchen areas.
• Provide cleaning and maintenance for designated facilities which include but are not limited to: dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, polishing floors, cleaning upholstery, window cleaning, washing laundry, shampooing carpets, cleaning ceiling vents, and maintaining restroom cleanliness.
• Requisition necessary supplies and equipment for cleaning and maintenance responsibilities.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to repair equipment and maintain facilities including but not limited to: painting, replacing damaged ceiling and floor tiles, and patching walls.
• Perform routine grounds maintenance tasks including but not limited to: snow removal or debris from sidewalks and driveways, mowing and trimming lawns and shrubbery.
• Identify and report safety hazards or possible repairs.
• Conduct safety inspections of vehicles and equipment before use to ensure they are in proper working condition.
• Monitor facility security and perform lockdown procedures.

Required

• Previous janitorial, custodian, or facility experience preferred.
• Proven reliability, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a high-traffic environment.
• Adaptable to changing priorities and schedules.
• Must meet company standards for background checks and TSA-compliant security clearance.
• Valid driver's license required.
