A prominent health insurance provider is seeking a motivated Clinical Assistant to work remotely. In this role, the Clinical Assistant will be responsible for supporting customer service activities for various departments within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting customer service initiatives for Case and Utilization Management
• Screening and directing calls, faxes, and other digital formats
• Resolving customer inquiries and maintaining departmental goals
• Documenting and keying data into appropriate systems
• Interacting with members, hospitals, and providers

• 1 year of related Customer Service experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience with Medical pre-authorization, Behavioral Health, or Medical Terminology
• Extensive knowledge of Utilization Management, Care Management, and Behavioral Health
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities
• Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills

• Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
• Relevant professional certifications
• Advanced proficiency in Medical Coding
