Contract Type: W2 Only
Duration: 6+ Months with Possible Extension
Location: San Jose, CA (#LI-Hybrid)
Pay Range: $30 - $35 per hour. on W2

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Web Content QA Specialist to oversee the quality assurance of web pages and assets, ensuring they meet formatting and QA guidelines. The role involves verifying URLs, extracting content from non-HTML assets, and populating clean data into our tracking tools while maintaining high accuracy. Ideal candidates will possess a strong attention to detail, the ability to handle repetitive tasks efficiently, and a background in web content QA or related fields.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify web pages against QA guidelines for formatting, URL accuracy, and metadata.
• Extract and collect content manually from various file types, ensuring readiness for scraping.
• Populate and validate results in internal tracking tools, maintaining clean data output.
• Log and document issues or edge cases promptly and clearly for further review.
• Prepare and format metadata accurately for downstream processes, cross-referencing with external data sources as necessary.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in web browsers, PDF navigation, and basic developer tools.
• Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets for tracking and QA purposes.
• Ability to follow detailed SOPs consistently across a large content volume.

Industry Experience:
Experience in Web Content QA, Data Entry/Data QA, or Web Scraping Support is highly valuable for this role. A university degree is required.
