With a commitment to professional development and growth, let us connect you to your next career opportunity./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliCreate and maintain a customer technology roadmap based on market trends./liliDrive technical influence to ensure AFL is seen as a primary technology partner./liliFully understand customers data center architecture and maintain up to date drawings./liliIdentification of customer road maps, specific pain points and potential paths to eliminate pain points./liliInfluence major technical changes at the earliest stage, ensuring that AFL is the primary technology partner for assigned customer./liliAct as technical lead for all optical connectivity within assigned customer(s)/liliMap and continuously update technical org structures of key accounts./liliMaintain strong technical relationships and trust with key influencers./liliParticipate in regular stakeholder meetings, with minimum quarterly cadence./liliMaintain a customer-specific technology and business strategy overview./liliCoordinate technical content and presentations for customer sync meetings./liliTrack and report monthly strategic activity and customer updates/liliCollaborate with Sales, Product Management and Engineering teams to meet customer needs./liliTranslate customer requirements into actionable tasks for AFL./liliWork with Product Line Managers and Engineering to develop innovative solutions./liliDefine and document new product needs using the NPAF process./liliManage pipeline of New Product developments and act as customer liaison through the development process/liliManage customer drawing creation and approvals within the required timeframes./liliParticipate in technical testing, demos, and implementation of solutions./liliRepresent AFL at industry-leading conferences and standards meetings./liliAlign with Fujikura and Industry partners to drive future-focused product initiatives./liliProvide thought leadership through white papers, technical content, and external publications./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliBachelors degree in engineering, science, or a technical field preferred/lili5+ years of experience in large-scale data center deployments/liliDeep understanding of fiber optic connectivity and data center infrastructure/liliAbility to create technical drawings in Visio./liliExperience in both active and passive networking technologies/liliFamiliarity with tools such as Oracle, GP, SFDC, Visio, and MS Office/li/ulh3Personal Qualities/h3ulliExcellent oral and written communication skills/liliStrong organizational and documentation skills/liliResilient, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset/liliCollaborative and confident in cross-functional teams/liliIndependent thinker with a global business perspective/liliDetail-oriented, strategic, and customer-focused/li/ulh3Working Conditions/h3ulliRemote or hybrid working arrangement./liliTravel required: 2550% (domestic with occasional international)/liliParticipation in technical and strategic meetings with customers/liliAttendance at industry events and standards organizations/li/ul/div
