What You'll Be Responsible For
  • Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger, and payroll
  • Ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
  • Establishing and maintaining internal controls, policies, and procedures
  • Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Partnering with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a small, high-performing accounting team
  • Supporting audits and serving as a key liaison with external auditors

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA strongly preferred; nonprofit experience is a plus
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership exposure
  • Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting expertise
  • Proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative, hands-on leadership style
  • Ability to thrive in a flexible, hybrid work environment
